The Aero-S combines a precision-woven tracking surface with our Aero-Silicone™ foam base. A gentle cleaning routine preserves its consistent glide, flat profile and recessed edge stitching without stressing the materials.
What you will need
- A soft microfiber cloth or non-abrasive sponge
- Lukewarm water
- A few drops of mild, pH-neutral detergent
- A clean, dry towel and a shaded, well-ventilated space
Clean it in four steps
- Prepare the solution. Mix lukewarm water with a small amount of mild, pH-neutral detergent. Never use bleach, solvents or aggressive chemical cleaners; they can damage the Aero-Silicone™ microcell structure.
- Clean gently. Wipe the surface with light circular motions. Avoid hard scrubbing so the precision weave and recessed edge stitching keep their original feel.
- Rinse completely. Use cool, clean water until every trace of detergent is gone. Soap residue can create slow spots and uneven X/Y resistance.
- Dry perfectly flat. Place the mousepad on a dry towel in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Let it air-dry fully before use.
Care and storage rules
- No heat. Do not use a tumble dryer or hairdryer, and keep the pad out of direct sunlight. Heat can deform the material or reduce the density of the silicone core.
- No machine washing. Mechanical agitation can weaken the recessed edges and the bond between the tracking surface and the base.
- Store it flat. For everyday storage, keep the Aero-S completely flat. For transport, roll it loosely with the tracking surface facing outward to prevent creases.
Pro maintenance insight Drying conditions matter as much as cleaning. Always dry the Aero-S on a perfectly level, horizontal surface. This preserves even surface tension and keeps the pad as flat as the day it was unboxed.
