How to use your AEGIS-C

User guide · AEGIS-C

Setup and connection from the JAVI PEEL user manual. Peel the foot films first, pick a link mode, then tune DPI and polling as needed.

1. Before first use

  • Peel the protective film from all mouse feet: front feet, rear feet, and the sensor ring.
  • Leftover film can affect glide and tracking — finish this before the first session.

2. Controls map

  • 1Left button
  • 2Right button
  • 3Scroll wheel / middle button
  • 4Forward button
  • 5Back button
  • 6DPI button
  • 7Mode switch (top: 2.4G · middle: OFF / wired · bottom: BT)
  • 82.4G receiver storage compartment

3. Wired connection

  1. Set the mode switch (7) to the middle (OFF) position.
  2. Connect the mouse to the computer with the USB-C cable.
  3. When plugged into a host USB port, the mouse runs in USB wired mode with priority.

4. 2.4G wireless

  1. Set the mode switch to the top position (2.4G).
  2. Hold Left + Right + Scroll for 3 seconds until the green LED flashes.
  3. Remove the receiver from the bay and insert it within 30 seconds; a solid green LED confirms pairing.
  4. If the receiver is not inserted within 30 seconds, the green LED stops flashing and pairing ends.

5. Bluetooth

  1. Set the mode switch to the bottom position (BT).
  2. Hold Left + Right + Scroll for 3 seconds until the blue LED flashes to start pairing.
  3. In your OS Bluetooth settings, select and connect AEGIS-C.

6. DPI

Press the DPI button to cycle levels. Indicator color matches the active level (PEEL user manual):

Indicator DPI
Red 400
Green 800
Blue 1600
Yellow 3200
Cyan 6400
Purple 12000

Note: CGS Control Center can rewrite DPI values. This guide lists factory PEEL steps (store labels may show 800 / 1200 / 1600 / 2400 / 5000 / 12,000).

7. Polling rate

  • Change polling rate in CGS Control Center.
  • Default polling rate: 1000 Hz.
  • Bluetooth does not support 1000 Hz — use USB-C or 2.4G when you need 1K.

8. Indicators

  • Green flashing: 2.4G pairing active; solid green confirms success.
  • Blue flashing: Bluetooth pairing active.
  • Red flashes 3 times every 5 minutes: battery below 3.6 V (low-battery alert).

9. Driver download

Quick tip: Wired USB takes priority when connected. Before wireless use, confirm the underside switch position, then run pairing or Bluetooth connect.
